If you have pressed the sync button on wii, then on the wii-mote, and it still didn't sync, try unplugging the Wii console for few minutes and try the process again.
There is another syncing mode, but you have to have at least one wii-mote connected to the wii. You press the home button and the click on the wii-mote on the screen. There will be a reconnect button. Press that and then press both the 1 and 2 buttons on the wii-mote[s] you want to connect. This is the ONE TIME ONLY connect mode, used when playin on a friends Wii. Once the Wii is powered off, the wii-mote wont be connected any longer and will still be the default wii-mote for your wii system [not on your friends]. Hope this helps.

The wii controllers wont connect with the wii...they just flash the four lights and then shut off

Looks like your controllers are not synced to the console. To sync them, open up the battery compartment on the controller and the SD card compartment on the console. Press the red button in the first remote, and then immediately press the red button in the console. Wait for about a minute and it should be synced. Repeat with each remaining remote.

Hello, When i try and use the Wii remotes [after charging in the Wii charger dock] all the blue lights at the bottom of the controller flash and then nothing...........also when the controllers are in...

The flashing lights likely means the controllers are not synced to the Wii. Syncing them to the Wii is really easy, luckily

Generally, you can find the sync button under the battery cover on accessories, which should be a small red button. Look around your remote for it.

After you find your sync button on your remote, find the one on the Wii. It is above the SD slot, and you will have to pull open the cover to see it, which is the little rectangular cover on the front of the Wii right underneath the power and reset buttons. The sync button is the little red one.

Once you've found both buttons, hold them both down at the same time for about 3 seconds, then let go and the two should sync with each other. You only need to do this once and you should be fine.

I have a flat screen tv and a wii linked to it. i got a preowned xbox 360 today and i just set it up. I try turning the controllers on and it keeps flashing four green lights. I put in brand new...

You need to sync the xbox with the wireless controls. Turn on XBOX , there is a small button next to where the memory card goes in . Press the button - green lights will circle on the xbox, while its doing that, press + hold the tiny button on top of the controller . This will sync the control to the right XBOX

Wii powers on..at start up screen press a to continue wii controllers/wii does nothing..batteries are all new in controllers..

Are your controllers sync'd with the Wii? In another words, on the bottom of the Wii Controllers are 4 blue lights. Is one of those four lights illuminated? If not, it will not know that you're pressing it -- you will have to sync the wii remotes.

Wii is comming on but when it says press a button nothing happens new controls aren't working or sensor bar isn't picking it up what to do

You probably need to synchronize your Wii-Motes to your system. When you press buttons on your controllers do the four LED lights flash at the bottom? This is a clear indication. Your Wii needs to be turned on. You need to open the little door on the front of your Wii where the SD card slot is. Under the slot there is a little red SYNC button. Then open the battery compartment on the backs of your remotes. There is another little red SYNC button here. Press the button on the remotes and then while they're flashing on the Wii and it should sync. If it doesn't work the first time try again.

On one of the wii controllers all i get is 4 blue lights flashing then nothing

The Wii-mote probably just needs to be synchronized to your Wii. Open the battery compartment on the back of your remote and open the front SD card slot on your Wii. Push the red SYNC button on the Wii and then the little red button on your Wii-moteand it should sync to your console.

Lites flash on remote and thats all

Your Wii must be on to be able to Sync the controllers.

Press the power button on the Wii, then press the red sync button located behind the SD slot door. Once this button has been pressed, locate your controllers, take off the battery cover, and press the red button inside the battery compartment. The blue lights on the front will flash a few times, a chime will be heard, and your controllers will now function with that Wii.

Every different Wii you use these controllers with, you must sync them every time to that other Wii

Wii controllers wont work

Hi, i have just fixed the same problem with my controllers. You must re-sync the controllers. In order to do this, turn on wii, open back of first controller where batteries are and press red sync button, then open small compartment on wii beside where game goes in and press the red button, the first blue light should light up on your controller, repeat for other controllers, making sure to do this process for each controller seperately. Hope this helps!
