Turn off and unplug the console and then plug the console back in and turn it on. Once the console is back on, press the sync button on the front of the Wii U console about approximately two times , or until you see the Wii U GamePad sync symbols. If you wait too long, the Wii U Game Pad may re-sync itself. If this happens, simply start back over from the first step. If still no luck then the Wii U game pad might be having issues and will have to be fixed.

Nintendo no longer is able to offer factory repairs for the Wii U console, and the Wii U GamePad, or Wii U accessories. You may find our information on replacement and upgrade options helpful. You could buy a new one from Lukie games and DKOldies and East Starland games then. Try and re sync the console and the controllers too see if it works again and make sure that the controllers are fully charged before using them and make sure that nothing is interfering with the connections. Try turning off and unplugging the console and the controllers off for a few minutes and then turn them back on again.
