Lets try a general answer. A time guard is a feature that prevents a unit from short cycling. This, as well as a lot of other data is programmable by the user. Repeatedly pushing the set button will scroll through all the adjustable options. Pick what settings you want at each window then press "RUN" to lock it all in. Hope this helps you.

Hw and ch not coming on auto , will come on if reset but following day will not come on again until reset , there is no red light on , on the time guard does this have any thing to do with it?

Hw & ch in my vocabulary means Hot Water & Chiller. I have never seen this on a thermostat. I'm also assuming by time guard, your saying time delay. The time delay only goes into effect if there is a power interruption.

Heating and hot worker work separately but not together

If this a honeywell valve you may need to change the motor in side the valve , sounds like its lost some of it power to move the inside of the valve to y postion .

My central heating pump does not switch off when the acl lifestyle model lp722 central heating timer switches both the hot water and c/h off. pump keeps running through the night

if you can turn off the hw and ch off , to the off postion and it shuts off then the acl lifestyle could needreplacing mine did the same on ch only so changed mine , or check the divtervalve is working and not stuck in the open postion , try turning hw on and off only then the ch see if valve works
