Insignia TV is only showing 1/2 picture

My TV was working just fine when I went to sleep last night but for some reason my Insignia TV is only showing 1/2 the picture. The screen is down the center & the right side is just snow & the left side shows the actual TV show. It only stays on for a couple of minutes then is automatically shuts off. I have it plugged into an expensive power strip that was purchased at Best Buy when I bought the TV a few years ago. We did not have any storms last night.

I have tried turning off the power strip for 5 minutes & then turning it back on. Still the same problem. I also tried just unplugging the TV for a few minutes & turning it back on, still the same problem.

Can anyone help me, I do not have the money to buy another TV right now!?!?!?

My TV is a Insignia 42" Plasma.

You are having problems with component failure. This could be a simple problem of over expanded solder connections that have expanded beyond the contact points on the board. This is reffered to as cold or broken solder joints. The other problem amy be actual component failure, such as bad capacitors or semi-conductor components. The unit need to serviced. You can call the Best Buy customer support telephone line at 1888-237-8289 and give them the model number of your television and the problem you are having. They should be able to give you a evalution and esimate of the repair costs. I hope this information helps you with your problem.
