Ge error code IH - General Electric Washing Machines

that's not an error code. it's a 1H, as in one hour, the delayed start function. hold the delay start button down to override, then reset it back to where you want it.

Fuser error...
Clear the message... 08-400 "0"
If occur again, u need to check the fuser probable, such as themistor, IH board, connectors and etc...

If 1st time occur, u can just go to 08-400, reset the value to "0" then restart the machine.

When this code not cleat 08-400 then check these all thengs..
1.Check the thermistors
(1) Check if the connectors are disconnected.
(2) Check if the main and edge thermistors are in contact with the surface of the fuser roller properly?
(3) Check if the harnesses of the main and edge thermistors are open circuited.

2. Check the IH board and IH coil

(1) Check if the IH coil is broken.
(2) Check if the connector of the IH coil is disconnected.
(3) Check if the thermostat is blown.
(4) Check if the connectors on the IH board are disconnected (AC input connector and LGC I/F connector
CN455/456).
(5) Check if the IH board or the switching power supply unit are abnormal.
• Replace the IH control board.

3. Check the LGC board
(1) Check if the connectors CN316 are disconnected.
(2) Check if the conductor pattern on the LGC board is short circuited or open circuited.
(3) Replace the LGC board.

please hold down 8+c and let us know what the error code is it will be shown on the display
if the error is c440 then do the following
switch off the machine
while holding down 8+0 switch on the machine
when the machine is in test mode key in 400 and press start button
key in 0 and enter switch off the machine wait a few seconds and switch on the machine if your code is c440 that should clear your error

C44 Abnormal fuser after abnormality judgment

1,2.3. Check the thermistors, IH control board, IH coil and LGC board
Check the above components following the procedure 1, 2 and 3 for [C41].

4. Clear the status counter
Change the current status counter value (08-400) “4” to “0” for [C43] and “5”, “7” or “9” to “0” for [C44], taking
the same procedure as that for [C41].
* The status counter value is as follows in the following cases. Change them to "0" respectively.
• The error occurred during warming-up: "4" or "5"
• The error occurred after the machine has become ready: "6"
• The temperature detected by the center thermistor is 230°C or higher: "9"
• The temperature detected by the side thermistor is 270°C or higher: "9"

This is an overvoltage error....Really need a tech to fix this...could be bad wall voltage....or the thermostat in the IH unit...or the fuse in the IH unit...or the logic board....

For error code C44, it indicates Heater abnormality.

If 1st time occur, u can just go to 08-400, reset the value to "0" then restart the machine.

If happen again, then u need to check the thermistor. Replace it if necessary. If themistor replaced but still happen again, then u need to proceed to check themostat--> heater-->Mainboard-->Switching regulator.

After leaving the dishwasher locked with the error code still showing, I returned to find that it had reset itself and run through the full cycle.
Problem solved itself.
