It should be in your menu as a Reset or Default Options.
Check your manual for the location.

I have a olympus X-42 how to reset olympus x42 to factory settings

In the manual on page 27 you can find what settings and how the settings can be set back to the factory settings.
Because of the icons, you better read the menial than read my descriptions of the icons.
Link to the camera manual for download.

Reset factory setting

Although Nikon cameras can be set back to the factory settings in several steps, I can't find anything in the Canon manuals, that says how to reset the camera or to put it back in the factory settings.
Perhaps you did change the firmware once. Most of the time there is a descriptions, how to do that and what to do if things go wrong. This could be something to reset the camera.

I have sony DSC-W190,i want correct menu setting ,bcos if i take a picture its not clear,i think may be menu setting changed, idnt any idea about menu setting pls help.....

Hi,

If the Menu settings in the camera is changed, then I suggest you to reset the Camera back to factory default. Initializing the Camera back to factory default will set all the settings in the Camera back to factory default.
To initialize the Camera back to factory default, select the INITIALIZE Option from the Main Settings 1 Menu of the Camera to OK.This will set the user defined settings back to factory default. The images and videos will not get deleted.
You can also try a manual reset;

Turn off the camera.

Remove the battery pack.

Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.

Allow the camera to remain without power for 60 seconds.

Reinsert the battery pack.

Turn on the camera.

The blurry image capturing can also adjusted by changing the ISO Settings or the Scene Selection modes.

When I take a picture it turns out white or blurry.

Hi,
There are lot of complex settings in your camera and so a wrong setting may cause such problem. So resetting your camera to default settings / factory settings will solve your problem. Use your camera user manual to know how to reset the camera to factory settings.

I hope this is useful in solving your problem.
Thanks

Fuzzy pictures

It's possible that some of the settings are set improperly on the camera. Try resetting the camera back to factory default settings and see if this makes any difference. To reset the camera - have the camera in shooting mode - go to Menu - left arrow to RESET - press Ok - highlight Yes and press Ok. This will set the camera back to factory settings. Try to take some images and see if they are still fuzzy.

Digital Zoom and Auto Focus "On" settings are not kept/retained

If you shoot in the P mode setting and then go to the Menu and set the option for All Reset to OFF. The camera will retain those settings when powered off. If you are shooting in the AUTO mode the camera will always default back to the factory setting of OFF when the camera is powered off. The All Reset function is not able to be set in the AUTO mode because the camera is already using factory default settings.

Looking to reset to original factory settings

On the camera's menu system, under Setup2, look for the option titled "Clear Settings". When selected, you can either clear just the Custom Settings, or you can clear all camera settings, which restores it to the factory defaults.

E520, fn button can not be set to "face detect", and can not reset to factory settings

In Auto mode this is true. If you turn the camera dial to P you will be able to reset the camera to factory settings and set the fN button to be face detect. In Auto the camera is already using the factory default settings for the camera.
