To open the Polaroid if045 , you will see a sliding lever on the bottom, slide that little lever to the back of the camera while at the same time ,sliding the battery cover to the right , this will open the battery cover.

SOURCE: I have a polaroid i936

you may have placed the batteries the wrong way, or the batteries are empty. Or the contacts are not touching or may be dirty - clean them with the eraser end of a pencil.

Camera not working

Unfortunately, if the batteries have corroded then the chances are extremely high that the contacts (and possibly more of the camera's internal electronics) have also been affected by corrosion. It may be possible to clean the contacts yourself, but if there is corrosion internally then the camera is probably not economically repairable.

Why does the screen freeze when i turn on my polaroid if045 digital camera?

Is the battery fully charged? Try taking out the memory card and see if it still freezes, the card could be corrupted. If that fails then the internal electronics are faulty.

My wife has a polaroid iF045 digital camera she got for christmas and it takes very blurry pics any ideas?

I don't want this to sound silly however, have you checked to see if the lens is clear? One fingerprint can really foul the picture.

Battery compartment

Hello,

You won't find a battery compartment. Poloroid instant camera have the battery as a part of the film pack. When you load the film...you get a new battery.

If you have not already found out, the film for these cameras can be pretty expensive.

Thanks for using Fixya.

What powers the polaroid 600 camera????????????????????????

The battery for the Poloarid is in the film pack.
Each film pack has enough battery power to shoot the film in the pack.
The problem is that if the pack sits around for too long the battery will die making the film pack useless.

If this helps please vote for my solution.
