yes this is because the dimer is giving the light less power.you just need to change the switch to a single switch then your dimer will work right all the time. good luck
I just installed a 2nd hunter fan model 23811 that also seems to be controlled by grimlins. If the power is left on, the light and fan randomly turn on and off. And no, it is not due to fans being on the same frequency. It appears to be an issue with the control module. I'm contacting Hunter.
make sure you have the remotes/receivers set to different jumpers. I installed 2 fans and had the same problem, just had to change the jumpers on one of the fans and the corresponding remote
common problem , i went to home depot and bought a new remote for my hunter fan , and it worked again , salesman was very knowledgeable and helpful . thanks. explain the problem to him , he can help .
