I'm not having a problem but I just need the procedure on how to change the IP address on a T2280 Tally printer.

problem with aga gear open the printer & check the white gears situated left upper of aga motor .......
or
may be aga flag missing or misalinged

Calibrating the temperature resolves the THS error in most cases.

The ‘Temp Cal’ functions can be carried out in the following way;

· Start with the printer powered OFF and at normal room temperature
· Hold down the ONLINE and SETUP button and power the printer back on
· Keep the ONLINE and SETUP button held down until the display reads ‘PRINT TEMP. CAL’ along the top line
· Press the button under ‘TEMP CAL’ (button 3)
· Using buttons 2 or 3 change the Temp Setting to match the temperature of the room the printer is used in (change this value by at least 1 degree even if it is correct to force the printer into recalibrating.
· Then press SET to save the settings.

If the printer continues to display the THS error, the problem can be caused by;

Incorrectly seated print head
Damaged or incorrectly seated head cable
Fault with Main Board, Interconnect Board or the print head.

TCP/IP address is displayed, then press # 2 button
IP address class A is displayed, then press # 3 button
scroll up or down until you see 192 press enter for *
next press # 2 button again scroll until IP address class B is displayed, then press # 3 button again
scroll up or down until you see 168 press enter for *
next press # 2 button again scroll until IP address class C is displayed, then press # 3 button again
scroll up or down until you see 145 press enter for *
next press # 2 button again scroll until IP address class node is displayed, then press # 3 button again
scroll up or down until you see 69 press enter for *

You need to repeat this procedure for the Subnet mask and Gateway...

I have been told that this is a Printhead, or Logic Board fault.

Git rid of it on customers by cleaning printhead(two screws then taking printhead out & cleaning connections, Replacing).

But now i have THS error 009 ??

self test not printing & printer is offline mode
