faulty cercit board is what you have there sorry to say but it dose happen every so often get in touch with the poeple who you got it off and have the engineer look at it

Error Code, All Error Codes will have an ER on the left side, followed by the error on the right: Er IF - Icemaker Fan Error - This can be caused by frostaccumulation on or around the icemaker fan. Unplug the unit for 3-4hours to allow this to melt off. If error code persists, call CustomerService. Er FF - Freezer Fan Error - This can be caused by frost accumulationon or around the freezer fan. Unplug the unit for 3-4 hours to allowthis to melt off. If error code persists, call Customer Service. For remaining error codes, try unplugging the unit for a couple ofminutes to reset the unit. Error Code Er FF This code is not to be confused with the O FF or demo mode error message. The "Er FF" error code indicates a problem with the unit's freezer fan. The freezer fan controls the temperature in the freezer. The source of this error is most likely ice buildup. As with the Er IF error, allowing the unit to thaw should resolve the issue. Contact customer service if the error code continues to be displayed after having thawed the unit.

ER in temp means error code next 2 letters are first letter of part giving problem or where problem located.. if " ER DH" means def heater not coming on, does not mean heater bad but def control bad not letting voltage to heater. could need main bd also
Sounds like it wasn't initialized, even though it says Er 4 instead of Er 0... According to my manual, to (re)initialize it and reset it to zero, tap the platform lightly. It should show zeroes running across the display for a second or two, then show all zeroes and turn off. It should be re-initialized...

Er 1 Instability error (step off the scale, then back on)
Er 2 Overload warning (registering weight beyond the 440 pound max)
Er 3 Contact error (body impedance beyond technical limit - try dampening feet and try again for better contact)
Er 4 Bodyfat error (bodyfat percentage is beyond range - try dampening feet and try again for better contact)
