Dvd for acer notebook won`t burn

The DVD may not be closed after burning. Check to see if the DVD has been closed. An opened DVD allows you to add more data and may not play.
Open a file on the DVD to see if it plays.

Go into system and roll back driver. If this doesn't work, go into hardware and remove it. Restart pc. It should try to reinstall. It may ask for driver. Have it ready.

Yes, it has. You can't view DVD's because for that you need specialized codecs or media players.

To burn dvd disks that can be played on a regular dvd player you need to programs: one to convert your video file - i use

Instead of trying to remove the internal drive, which is still useful, do what I did and buy an external DVD drive, just plug it in with a USB cable...then you still have your internal for nornal stuff and you can move the external around anywhere to take care of the heavy duty stuff...good luck..pls rate this solution.

My guess is that your combodrive dosent suport the media you trying to play on it. I guess that is suports PAL and other media.

if you want to play any of the thousands of DVDs imported from any of the other FOUR REGIONS? You need to make your DVD player (or your Windows PC or Mac) REGION FREE, try download region-free software to unlock your DVD player, and make it can play ntsc hindi songs.

you need codec for the DVD player on PC ( codec is a device or program capable of encoding and/or decoding a digital data stream or signal ) NO vista does NOT supply you with the codec nor does any other Operational System .

what burning software are you using, are their any errors or does the cd just fail, visually on the cd/dvd, does it appear to be writting to the disk?

ok " get a CD/ DVD cleaning disk , you pop that in and it will clean the lens inside, and they don't cost much, but do so much
good. happy movie watching
