RAZR needs charging 2 times a day even with new battery.

I was using my hands free on a road trip and the thing kept going to voice command. I unplugged it and ever since it is eating up the power and I have to charge it up to twice a day. I bought a new battery, but it does the same thing. Any ideas?

I guess I'll clarify here. With the hands free ear plug plugged in, the "please say a command" voice activation repeatedly came on. I turned it off, but it would simply return a short time after. I unplugged the earpiece, but since then I can't keep a charge. I purchased a new battery and charged it several times as suggested, and neither battery will hold a chrage for a day. It's as if the phone is still working or the screen is still on when closed. So thats what its doing. No, i won't send it to Motorola, Im sure it would be cheaper to ebay or craig's list one. Thanks,

    john

Drain the battery completely 2 or 3 times, then fully charge it and see how long it lasts. If this doesn't help then you might want to take it back to the store. Your phone is obviously trying to figure something out which is sucking down the battery. Bluetooh will drain a ton of battery out for long periods, hence keeping it hooked up in the car. I have gone through multiple razr phones in the past and they all sucked down batteries pretty quick so in the case, blaming the phone is an option :) . You can also try taking the battery out to give the phone a good restart, perhaps leave out for 30 seconds or so. I wouldn't recommend sending it in to Motorola, they like to find ways to charge you to just have it looked at.

Hope this helps! Don't forget to rate :)

Can i add the voice command option to enable me to use my hands free device with my ace2 Samsung cellphone

If I'm not mistaking, you can use Google Now to open apps, make phone calls or search for any contacts. There is no need to for voice command, but you could use it. All you need to do is have the hands free device already connected to your Samsung device and then use either voice command or Google Now. Best of luck.

I put my Droid Razr on charger but battery symbol comes on with ? mark. Won't charge or turn on.

1. Turn off your phone when it's not in use. If you're not using your Verizon Wireless Razr, then shut it off. Your battery will last much longer if you regularly do this.
2. Charge your phone less. If you charge your Razr nightly, then your cell phone battery won't last long. Try to charge your phone only a few times a week to extend the battery life.
3. Keep your Bluetooth turned off when you're not using it. Applications, like Bluetooth, are notorious for sucking the power from a cell phone battery.
4. Protect your Razr from extreme temperatures. Your cell phone battery lasts longer if kept at room temperature.
5. Discharge the Razr fully. Before you charge your phone, let it completely die. You can extend the life of the battery by regularly discharging and then fully charging it.
6. Leave the battery in the phone. Keep the Razr battery dry and free of dirt to prolong its life.

Motorola razr battery problem

The only solution is to get a new battery. When you do, charge it completely when you first get it, then discharge it until it dies. This will maximize the life of the battery.

Reformat it! 1. Keep pressing Comm manager and Voice Command button 2. While they are pressed, push in on the soft reset button (reset hole) once 3. Keep holding the Comm Manager and Voice Command buttons until there is a screen asking you if you want to clear all data. 4. To commit, press the green send key.
