my digital answering machine will pick up the telephone call and will play the message but you can't hear it over the telephone. Is there one else having this problem?

I have a KX-T7433 and would like to change the number of rings before it goes to voice mail. It is currently set at 4 rings and would like to change it to 6

The KX-T7433 isn't an answering machine. If the voicemails are going to an answering machine you have on the phone line, consult its manual. If the voicemails are going on to your telephone service provider's system, look for instructions in the phonebook, or contact the provider.

If you need a KX-T7433 manual, you may download a copy at Panasonic KX T7433 Phone User Manuals Guides

How do you check your voicemail on a VTech cordless phone

The cordless phone pictured appears to be a VTech CS6114
and an Answering Machine System is not part of this phone.

** BUT ** an Answering Machine System is not the same
as "VoiceMail" anyway.

VoiceMail is an option offered by some (not all) telephone
service providers, and each of those who do offer the feature
employ specific procedures unique to themselves.

Check with your Telephone Service Provider to see if you
do have a VoiceMail service activated and how to go about
using it.

Per the CS6114 User Manual, the display indication shown,
"New VoiceMail", will be removed from the cordless phone
handset when you have accessed the providers' VoiceMail
system and played/cleared the messages.

If the alert display persists, it can be cleared from the handset
by the following (tested on my own cs6114 phone):
===========================
press [menu]
scroll to "Settings"
press [select]
scroll to "Clr voicemail"
press [select]
display reads "Reset VM Icon?"
press [select]
phone will (chirp)
press [off ] [off ]
===========================
Good luck!

How to check voicemail on my vtech 6.0 phone

VoiceMail is not a function or feature of the cordless phone.

VoiceMail is an option offered by some (not all) telephone
service providers, and each of those who do offer the feature
employ specific procedures unique to themselves.

Check with your Telephone Service Provider to see if you
have or can get a VoiceMail service activated and how to
go about using it.

OTOH, some cordless phones have an associated Answering
Machine System to answer incoming calls, save a message,
provide for you to access and manage the system remotely
(ie, call-home and play your messages, delete some or all, etc.)

The specific how-to's for all of this are best viewed in the
original Owner's / User's Manual which is easily downloaded
from www.manualslib.com ( look underneath the battery
inside the handset for a small sticker showing the proper model
number to look for ( ie, CS6229 ))

Good luck!

My Vtech phone answering machine no longer records incoming messages on its base. Help

From the sound of it it I think its either: your mailbox is full or the feature has been turn off accidentally.

Vtech's support recommend the following (I've removed things like 'make sure its plugged in' and 'is your answering system is turned on' etc..)

1 Some answering systems have an announce only option, which plays your greeting but won't record messages. Make sure your system is set to record messages.

2 Your answering system's message capacity may be full. You must erase old messages to make room for new ones.

3 If you have voicemail service in addition to your answering system, your caller's message may be going into voicemail before your answering system picks up the call. Program your voicemail to pick up at least 2 rings after your answering system is set to answer the call.

Factory password

According to the user manual the password is set thru your phone service provider. I was able to reset mine through Verizon's (my phone carrier) website. Here is an excerpt from the user manual:

This telephone does not have a built-in answering system. This telephone supports voicemail feature offered by your telephone service provider (subscription is required, and fees may apply).
To use the voicemail:
To retrieve your voicemail messages, you typically dial an access number provided by your telephone service provider, and then enter a security code. Contact your telephone service provider for instructions on how to configure the voicemail settings and listen to messages.

Hope this helps!

Lexmark pinnacle pro901 will not receive faxes i can send but can not receive what do I do

Are you sharing your home phone line with your fax? Do you have an answering machine or a voicemail feature in the same line?
If you have an answering machine connected to the same line as the fax, set the answering machine to answer incoming calls before the printer does. Increase the number of rings by a factor of 3 over the answering machine. For example, if the answering machine is set to pick up on 4 rings, set the printer to pick up on 7 rings.

If you have a voicemail feature in the same line as the fax, you may want to subscribe from your phone service provider for a distinctive ring pattern feature. You can program your printer to have a distinctive ring pattern and phone number for incoming faxes.

My phone keeps sending everything to voice mail, but i want it to just go to regular answering machine, how do i change it? The red light at the bottom next to voice mail is on. I've looked through the...

You'll need to find out from your phone service provider how to disable or change the settings on your voice mail. The service is part of your phone line and has nothing to do with the phone, so it's not covered in the manual. Normally the phone service provider gives you a set of instructions (or provides them on their website) explaining how to use the features on your line.

You typically enter "star codes" (*72, for instance) to enable a feature or change its settings. Voicemail usually has two modes: "busy", where it will pick up a message if your line is in use, or "no answer", where the voicemail picks up after a set number of rings. You would want to choose "busy" so that your home answering machine will take the call when you aren't on the phone, and voicemail only kicks in if someone else calls while the line is already in use.

Contact your service provider and they should be able to tell you the magic codes for your system.

HOW DO YOU GET TO LISTERN TO ANSWER PHONE MESSAGES ON THE LG COOKIE BLACK KP501

Hi.

It is speed dial 1. Just press and hold number one to call the voicemail service. If that does not work, then voice mail settings may need to be changed according to the specs given by your provider. If the phone is new and using the original SIM, then simply press and hold number one.

Here a manual in PDF format:

How to activate answering feature on cs5111

Your phone can retrieve messages ONLY if you subscribe to a voicemail service through your phone company. It does not have a built-in answering machine/voice mail feature. If your subscribe, your phone company mustprovide access instructions, as they vary by provider. For more information, please see your operating guide:
