OK, CH normally means the one of the covers(front or side panels) is open or the developer unit is unplugged try these to see if that fixes the problem. p.s When the covers are closed a small tab on the covers triger a interlock switch or optical switch. Hope this helps

How can i solve this E244 error code

A E244 error code deals with the scaner. When you turn the copier ON will the scanning lamp turn ON? If it dose and you make a copy and thhe scaner moves & start to make a copy and then codes out. The problem is the BLACK scaner power cable has a crack in the coatting and is arching out to the frame o the copier..... It is not a easy fix.... If the scaner lamp is not turning ON???? You may have a blown Lamp or thermal fuse.... You can still find these parts..... The code will not go away till the problem is fixed.. Good Luck

Canon Np 6221 given error E0200

Hi, the error code E200 is related to scaner section.
Try remove copy glass, and manually pull right and back in home left position the scaner assy.

Before doing that, disconect the copier from power network, because the lamp of copier is always under current.

Then turn on the copier

The ink cartridge holder will not move across the machine as usual. The COPY light is lit, also a red exclamation point. I cannot make copies or print from my computer There is an error message: Printer...

You could try a couple of things - firstly, check to see if there are any foreign objects stopping the cart from moving - this happens regularly, even lollie wrappers can stop it! I once found a comb in a printer!

Secondly, you could try unplugging the printer entirely, turn upside down and give a firm shake, this will assist in clearing debri.

Or finally, Phone 0800 2 EPSON (NZ number)

How can I solve error E214 of my canon 6260 photocopier

The error code deals with the scaner / mirrors or lamp. When you turn the copier "ON" will the scanning lamp turn on? If not your Lamp is blown or it could be the thermal fuse for the lamp, but it is most likely the lamp. It could also, mean that the Lens is not moving into home position.

Scanner locked message displaying

Look on the bottom side of your scanner. The area where your copies come out. Under where the lamp is, you will see a green lever. About 2 inches long and a half inch wide.
Shut the machine off, Shove the green latch toward the inside of the machine, then pull it back toward you until you feel it snap into place.
What happens is when your removing your copies you brush it with the top of your hand and accidently latch the scanner.
3 things you can do. Since that is just for shipping purposes. You can, which I recommend, Unplug the machine, remove the 2 phillips screws, and move the lamp to the right slightly. Remove that green latch, just 2 clips on the sides compressed a little removes it . Dont discard it, but just turn it around and latch it forward. There is a little nipple that will catch and keep it in place.
2, Once removed, if you dont plan on moving the machine, And by that I mean putting it in a car or truck and moving it to a different location, you can take pliers and snap the latch itself off.
3, Take a piece of tape and just cover the entire latch.
But that's your issue, and very common.

System Error [L1-00]

Error code L1-00 indicates that the scanner is locked down for transport. There is a dial under the scanner by the paper output tray. Rotate the dial, and the error message may be cleared. The dial controls the scanner lockdown mechanism.
