GE profile side by side refrigerator door won't close

clip on bottom of hinge is worn or broken had mine replaced. magnetic seals are not strong enough to hold the door closed on their own. Original problem was the magnets were too strong so the clip on the bottom hinge was added.

harness is wiring,eplace the defrost control and make sure the door seal doesnt leak

The dispensor door not closing completely . Replace the flap solenoid and plunger behind the dispensor controls .

clean gaskets and close door gently . if that don't work hinges could be sprung

Get stronger magnets.

lose the top hinge and pull the door just a bit. then re thigh the hinge on the new position.

check the bottom of the door, make sure it is completely closed

Wow, so you dropped some money into it, eh? I would take a look at the damper door asslb(DIFFUSER). located at the very top left of your refrigerator section in back. It has a motorized door that opens and close's and it may be stuck open. More than likely it is broken and needs to be replaced. GOODLUCK!!!!

FYI: All your cold air in your refrigerator comes from your freezer!
