I want to hard wire my to Toshiba satellite l645d s4025 power adapter but don't know which wire is connected to the inside post, and which goes to the outer connection on the laptop power adapter port. can't find a friggin schematic anywhere, and my wife lost it connector somehow. I know it's kinda stupid but I figure you might get a kick outta this one. looks like your the wiz.

it is charging, it is on power but unable to start. common issues on toshiba are fan and heatsink. in your case, it needs cleaning and ally silicon compound under processor.

hi to tell you what from my knowledge it means the main board of the p c is bad or needs servicing give a technician to help you check it

First - re-seat the harddisk and reboot the computer. If the computer does not boot up then reboot andgo into the BIOS configuration to see if the BIOS detects the hard drive. If itdoesn't detect the hard drive then it could be faulty.
Then the hard drive needsto be replaced in the computer/laptop, Windows installed and the computer orlaptop's device drivers plus your programs etc. to get a functioningcomputer/laptop again.

1) Make SURE you remove ALL power before removing the Harddrive.
Remove the AC adapter (Charger) and Battery.

It sounds like the cooling fan is going bad.. when the cooling fan starts going bad it makes a loud noise and sometimes it doesn't even run. Here's the link for a fan for that specific laptop:

First Visit http://support.toshiba.com up top Click "Download" and search out your Toshiba Model Laptop. You could try a BIOS upgrade for it, it won't hurt anything, but I seriously doubt your fan is draining the battery that fast, even if it does run all the time. It's possible there is dust in there causing the fan to run all the time, or your power management settings need adjusting. Although the BIOS upgrade, if applicable, may help the fan, and should, frankly, be run anyway if available. I'd be seeking another battery to try, or maybe just buy a new one. If you get 4 hours you're good to go, from my experience laptop batteries die and just need replacing.

You can try calling Toshiba's laptop support line but they will require proof of ownership. If they can't get it removed then your only option is to get a new hard drive. Reason is because when a hard drive password is put on a hard drive its programmed into the circuitry in the hard drive so if you don't remember the password then you can't get past that screen.

and for check the web cam and audio use software that using webcam and audio device like Yahoo messanger or skypee, with that software you can make video call to another person

Start by trying another power outlet.

The power adapter should have its own light. If it doesn't light up then the adaper is bad. Kensington.com sells very inexpensive universal power adapters. You might also find a good deal on eBay.

If the adapter lights up then it may be your battery. Notebook batteries are only good for 2-3 years. If you let them sit for a long time without a charge they may only last 1-2 years.
