When my dryer starts is begins squeaking and after 30 secs a horrible clunking noise begins too. after only 60 sec or so it sounds like it is going to explode. Is this the belt going bad?
Your particular unit has quite a few things that could be making a real loud noise.....The idler pulley, blower wheel, rear drum rollers, front drum glides. Bottomline is you have to get in there and take the unit apart..vacuuming while there and if the unit is making such a noise, it will be obvious where the problem is.....If I can help further, I am here.......
