Reset digital timers before programming to eliminate trace testing memories and restore full functionality

Make sure you're in correct mode fro programming: Time setting mode, with selector moved to top next to clock symbol

Compare your timer manual with Hagar manufacturer's generic manual for the 2-channel: English on page 3.

3) Programming steps: Press PROG button until Timer 1 ON appears on display Use Hour button to set 5 PM Use MIN button to set :00 Default selects ALL days (If you want other days, press DAY button until display shows correct block of days) Press PROG button again to save Program1 ON 4) Now for Program1 OFF 5) To set Program1 Off Press PROG button until Timer 1 OFF shows in display. SOURCE: 'Select' button not working properly

Timer is not identified.
Copy following link to read specific troubleshoot steps, and help identify specific timer.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Woods-timers-and-manuals.html#troubleshoot

With digital timers, be sure to reset timer before programming, to clear stray memory traces. Repeat reset more than once.
Most timers today have 1 year limited warranty against defects in workmanship.
Brand name timers such as Woods, Intermatic, GE, Westek, Utilitec have specific warranty procedure, while promotional timers sold under Timex, First alert, Stanley, the warranty is less clear and probably underwritten by seller.
Add a comment with clear description of timer.

How do i get the flashed turned on

First, check to make sure you're not in the macro mode. There's a slide switch on the end of the camera, near the SD card slot. Slide the switch away from the flower toward the mountain to take it out of macro mode. The flash won't fire in macro mode.

Then, if the flash still doesn't fire, take a look at the flash mode. Press the up-arrow button to bring up the flash menu. If it's currently set in the lightning-bolt-in-a-circle-with-a-slash-through-it symbol, you've got the flash turned off. Set it to the lightning-bolt-and-"A" for automatic flash or the lightning-bolt for forced flash.

If the flash still doesn't fire, then it's broken.

My daughter has just moved house and inherited a Randall 702 time unit for her central heating but no manual was left. Where can she download one for free, please?

This programmer is very easy to use, I wish I could get a modern one so simple.
Use the 6 white buttons along the top to move the time setting bars to the desirded on/off times.
Then using the two rows of switches below decide if you want hot water or heating between the time bars.
Switch 1 is for operation between bars 1 & 2
Switch 2 is for operation between bars 2 & 3
etc
but Switch 6 is for operation between time 6 and time 1 the next day.
The slider switch has 3 positions
Off, Auto (ie the time settings above), and On all the time

Hope this helps but if you are scrapping the programmer please let me know
