My usb controller driver not working right

I would like to no how to fix it.

If it's a driver issue, HP/Compaq should have the drivers oon their site for your system, all you need to do is select which of the two models of theNX5000 you have, and get the drivers from HP, here's a link http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/ProductList.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&taskId=135&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=395654

Computer does not see storage drive

W 7
First, please disconnect all USB devices and then perform the following steps:
Click "Start" button, type "devmgmt.msc" (without quotation marks) in the "Search" bar and press "Enter". Click "Continue" if necessary.
In Device Manager, double click to expand "Universal Serial Bus controllers", right click on the Host Controller, click "Uninstall" and click "OK".
Repeat the step 2 to uninstall all items under "Universal Serial Bus controllers".

Then, restart your computer and Windows 7 will reinstall all USB controllers automatically.
for XP or earlier
Click start right click on computer select properties device manager scroll down universal serial bus controllers you could see a yellow question / exclamation mark? ! or a red X
you will need to update/reinstall drivers right click to reinstall drivers
if you can see your usb drive but its not working
ports (com&lpt) right click update driver if this fails to fix the problem
Check the USB leads that attach to the motherboard usually red white green black make sure they are securely seated and have no dust build up on them dust will cause static and a lot of unforeseen problems to a computer and its parts

I had to take my computer in for service and now I cannot get my computer working. It has to do with the USB connection but as I am not computer literate (senior citizen) I am not sure which port to...

im not sure why you need a usb connection or port to get your computer working however you can plug your usb drive into any usb ports if you do this and your uab drive is not working

scroll to disk drives if you can see your drive + to expand right click you should see options update driver disable uninstall scan for hardware changes

select properties you should see options in the general tab to troubleshoot policies volumes driver and details under the driver tab you will have the options to check the driver details update driver rollback driver or uninstall

if all of this fails to fix your problem your computer back to the place you had it serviced and complain or ask for a refund

im sure they will fix the problem they have caused
