SOURCE: TV BLACK SCREEN WITH THE POWER ON.

It needs repair.
If the line is vertical, then something is damaged on its horizontal circuit section on the mainboard.
If the line is horizontal, the vertical circuit section is damaged.
have it repaired to a qualified service center or person!
avoid switching it to avoid further damage on other parts!

I have a LE49A509 Hitachi Television that will turn on but the screen is black. At least the blue light comes on and stays on but no picture at all. What is wrong and how can I fix it

Do flashlight test to see if you can see a picture. If so the issue is with the tcon board. If no picture with flash light issue is with the inverter board that powers the led's.

TV Not turning on , but blue power light is on

look in the back, see if the lamp is actually lit. If it is probably not a tv problem. If you can pull up the menu then you probably are on the wrong input. Are the fans running when you turn it on? IF fans are running might be lamp, if nothing is seen through the back.

Won't turn off

Go to the panel (on the tv set), hit magic focus on there....then hold power button for several seconds long. It should go off and fix your problem.
