Oops, straight from the manual for your laptop...

Problem: I forgot my password.
Solution: If you forgot your power-on password, you must take your computer to an IBM reseller or marketing representative to have the password canceled. If you forgot your hard disk password, IBM will not reset your password or recover data from the hard disk. You must take your computer to an IBM reseller or an IBM marketing representative to have the hard disk drive
replaced. Proof of purchase is required, and a fee will be charged for parts and service. If you forgot your supervisor password, IBM will not reset your password. You must take your computer to an IBM reseller or IBM marketing representative to have the system board replaced. Proof of purchase is required, and a fee will be charged for parts and service.

Laptop BIOS passwords are kept in a special password chip. On some laptops these chips are replaceable and there are a number of places you can buy this. PWcrack.com for one.

3# plug in the ac adapter and turn on the botton.

That usually means there is a system password that needs to be entered. If you do not know it, you must remove the CMOS battery from the laptop and reset it.

You need to re-set your BIOS, (Basic Input / Output System). In essence you need to remove the CMOS battery and replace it; however, do not do this unless you are technically competent. When you replace the battery the BIOS will be re-installed to it's factory setting, which hopefully wont include a BIOS password.
