This is a common problem with the flip out display feature. Either the little image inverter switch is bad on the flip out screen unit or the flex cable unit going to the display is bad. Sometimes that switch can be cleaned ,but if it's the cable it will need replacement. This problem is a display issue however ,so if you can rotate the display in another postion to where you can use the camera you can still use it. It will not effect the recording made. I fix these all the time . Repairs run from $40 to approx $165. Larry's Electronics 916-362-8708 [email protected]

Hi
I can tell you how to solve the reversed image. With the camera running look on the side of phone where the up/down volume keys are. If you press up button you will notice image on screen change. I think the down button inverts the image? Up or down this should correct your inverted image problem.

There is a button on the back that can be pressed called Disp. (stands
for Display). There are two or three settings it flips through each
time you press the button. Press this button a few times to cycle through
the choices in each of the playback and camera mode to see if this resolves your issue. Happy snapping...
