The LG wd-80160f washing machine does not shoot .. no spinning ... a sound of a spin comes aloud but no actual spinning happens.. waste and power are completely right but it does not spin..

How old is your washing machine?
A common problem with machines that are a few years old and have heavy usage is worn down brushes in the motor.
If the machine goes through a normal cycle, then stops at the spin cycle, that is probably the fault.
Spare brushes are available and relatively easy to change.

Hi there, my mum actually had that problem with her LG washing machine, we did clean out all the drains and hoses just like you did, and also checked the pipes for any damages(cracks/ bends). Turns out the cause was that the machine just wasn't sitting level, so it wasn't draining out properly. Water just collected inside the front of the machine causing that error. Check if the machine is level, and while you're at it check your filter for clogs.

LE fault code for LG WD-1019bd washer

I found that in winter time not a problem with my LG front loader, but when the temperature went over 30 Celsius the problem came back and intermittent like yours did, there was also an unusual noise coming from the machine.
What I did to fix the problem was to remove the stator and place it in the freezer for about half an hour or so, I also cleaned any minor dust and grit from both the Stator magnets and the Stator drum, replaced it still very cold and now it works well with no more unusual noise and the outside temperature has no more bearing on the machine not spinning this day!

Usually it is the stator at fault with an LE error. I would make sure the cable between the stators windings and hall sensor are ok back to the main control board also give the wires a good tug sometimes the copper breaks inside the wiring insulation at the white connection blocks. Check to make sure theres nothing got trapped inbetween the drum and tub this can lock the drum up and give the fault. After checking all the above i would think it would either be a faulty stator or the main control board has failed. Hope this helps.

You may have some articles that made their way into the pump housing. Alot of times I see dimes get stuck in the ports of the pump, remove and check out thoroly and also check hoses coming to pump for little son of a gun articles that like to hide.

The LG error code OE simply means "the pump is blocked". Presumably the water isn't being emptied properly. As with all error codes it is possible that there is a cause other than the exact description in the error code explanation but basically this error means as far as the washing machine is concerned it thinks the water isn't pumping out. A pump, or filter blockage is the most common cause but it could be caused by other faults such as a faulty pump, or even a blockage in the drain hose or somewhere else in the system etc.
