Hi,I have replaced these rubber seals,the front ring shouldnt give you much trouble its the inner one thats the pain,I woulnt use wire as the one thats on it is sprung loaded.
Ive also had to replace the door latch on a washing machine,what I did was take the top off and reach inside,maybe thats an option,or the other way is to put the machine on its side and go in through the bottom.

Fairly easy to do. It is held on with 2 wire rings, one on the outside edge of the seal when you open the door and when that is removed there is another one holding it to the outer drum. Removal of the lid may also help with removal of the inner ring. When refitting you press the lip of the seal over the outer drum edge and fit the retaining ring back and then do the same on the front where the door meets the seal. Just make sure the small drain holes in the seal are located at the bottom, best to look at the old one to see how it's fitted before you remove it.

Reinstalling that rubber seal is a lesson in patients. There is a metal lip on the machine opening and a cooresponding groove in the rubber seal. These two need to be mated together. That's the easy part. Once together, the retaining wire and spring go around the rubber seal just on top of where the rubber seal goes over the matching lip. It will take several tries, the spring may be small but it's very strong and difficult to stretch. Good luck.

its quite simple if you removed same....Assuming you have refitted the door boot seal the inner ring is normally fed on then tightened up with a securing screw some rings are a spring which needs to be stretched on to the seal, a good video is available at utube .com FIT DOOR BOOT SEAL

Start with the spring at the bottom, work the retainer around until the seal starts to pull away from the washer. Now grip the loop that the spring attaches to on the side that isn't in place and open the retainer. Push the retainer in place and release the spring.
