I have a gestetner dsc224 that was hooked up to a network of 12 computers. I recently moved the copier and it is hooked up to one computer. How can I eliminate the previous information that is in the copier because it is searching for the server.
Also, is it possible to change the the ring that fax machine accepts for an incoming fax?

Generally you can only scan over a network cable to a copier. so if it is hooked to one computer, it would have to be connected by a crossover cable to be able to scan. You cannot scan from a copier to a computer using a parallel cable or usb so how is it connected?
How is it attached? for example: tcp/ip? Usb?
Is it the message "updating destination list has failed"?? You still want to scan? configuration can be a little tricky.
Regarding the ring......you mean it is a shred fax/phone line? This machine needs to be on a dedicated line, has no "distinctive ring" capability
