You may have one or more print jobs stuck in the printer queue. Download and use the free Stalled Printer Repair here... http://www.fantasticfreeware.com/?page_id=2451
I am unsure of the OS that you are using however I am providing the general steps with respect to Vista, If you use WIn XP then change accordingly.
Go to the printers folder, right click on the 1315, Run as administrator, Properties, (continue), Device Settings make sure "Duplex Unit (for 2 sided printing)" is set to "Installed" under installable options, OK. When printing go to the Finishing tab and select "Print on both sides".
plz check ur printer cable from both end if they are connected properly or not , if the cable connected then uninstall the printer driver and restart the system . After restarting the system then reinstall the printer driver with proper port configuration setting (For USB Cable - Port DOT4 or USB & For Com Cable Port LPT or Com) then after installing restart the system again and when the system start then check by giving print .
try to uninstall & reinstall the printer application software... also follow instructions while reinstalling the software.. keep the priner cable disconnected till the time the installation software dosen't ask you to connect the printer....
Simple, go to start-> run-> Type "services.msc"-> enter
You will get a list of services, go to print spooler, restart it, go to the printer icon in control panel and check is there any print jobs in queue, cancel those prints and restart your computer. It will work.
