Maybe lots of things maybe blown speakers try to change the fade front to rear check the balance left to right make sure the mute isn't on can you tell what head unit you have? did the radio just start doing this or was it this way when you got the Tahoe?

SOURCE: car has been in yard for a year isnt working now

I'm not familiar with your specific GM model, but I would go over the fuse blocks & fuses. Connectors get corroded or glazed easily when sitting, depending on your area air quality. If the car was sitting in the yard on the ground this is very probable with the likely humidity and fluctuating temp conditions. I've ressurrected dozens of vehicles from the 'yard' and 90% of the time they have a fuse or ground related problem that is cured by the following 2 steps. Until you do the following, don't waste your time and aggravation trying to troubleshoot further.

1. Since you've changed the battery I assume you have cleaned the posts and you've checked the cable connections for corrosion and tightness at the solenoid posts also. If not then you should do that next. After that look for and tighten all the grounds you can find, like one for the engine to fire wall, engine to batt, etc, just look for them then clean & tighten the bolts & connectors

2. Go over the fuseblock as outlined here:
Remove, test(with an ohmeter), clean (with pink pearl eraser) the fuse wafer tips, and replace them one at a time.
Do the Same for your blinker/hazard relays and other special devices. Then do this with any malfunctioning individual lamps or bulbs in a circuit.

Hopefully this will fix your flaky electrical problems that are common after a vehicle sits for a long time. You may also have a fuse test good for continuity but still not working- so just swap with a new fuse of the same rating to test- never replace with a higher rated fuse.

Good luck and let us know how it went.
If this fixes ya please give a rating.

2002 s-10...radio lights, clock and progaming shows up but nothing when i turn volume up

If you mean no sound, could be speaker wires are dead, output to the speakers on the head unit could be dead, if your system is fully amplified, that wire could have come undone.

First question: Is it stock radio?
Second question: no aftermarket items added to the system?
Third question: you mean no sound?

If the answer to all these are yes, test your cigarette lighter to see if it works. If it does, it's most likely the head unit or the stock amp. If it doesn't work, check the ACC fuse, sometimes there is a radio one too. Your head unit has three "power wires" one is constant (Unit turning on, time, etc. The second is the "switch" wire. The third is the ground. I am wagering the switch wire has a separate fuse. Hope this helps!

2007 Saturn Aura XE, the audible alarms can hardly be heard

Good news - they're adjustable. The radio is used to adjust the vehicle's chime level. To change the volume level of the chime, press and hold push-button 6 with the ignition on and the radio power off. The volume level will change from the normal level to loud, and LOUD will appear on the radio display. To change back to the default or normal setting, press and hold push-button 6 again. The volume level will change from the loud level to normal, and NORMAL will appear on the radio display.

Note: Each time the chime volume is changed, three chimes will sound to indicate the new volume selected.

Radio no audio 1990 bmw 535i

What happens if you turn the VOLUME to MAXIMUM?

If still no sound , then suspect problem with the speaker , connections or wiring

If loud hissing etc. then speakers appear OK so suspect a radio fault

There is no volume on my radio

U most likely have a factory auxiliary amplifier in the car, the radio is just a control head, that amplifier may be defective and hence no sound.
