Re: after work I found my home heating system turning on...
You may have to reset your thermostat and reprogram it. First I'd check to make sure the batteries are good. Had the same problem. Hopefully you have the booklet that came with it. Bud

Look at your system. Does it have any blinking lights or LED error code? If a light is blinking, count the blinks to get the error code. Note: if you turn off the power to the unit, the code will reset. You may need to wait for the next call for heat to see the code.
Check your fan motor. If the blower isn't running properly, the furnace will shut off with an over-temperature issue inside the unit. You should also check the air inlet/exhaust pipe for blockages. (This could be a flue or two independent pipes.) Finally, the problem could be with the internal control board communicating with the rest of the forced air system.
You may need a service technician to fix the problem.
I hope this helps. Please add a comment with the make and model and any error code for more information.

(Last winter, my own house had the fan motor fail. It started as an intermittent failure to circulate the air and the combustion chamber getting super hot. Replacing that motor fixed the problem.)
Follow the Accumulator (round silver cylinder) low pressure hose to the fire wall. You will find the low pressure service port valve just before the fire wall.
Make sure you don't over charge the system, add small amount at a time and check the temperature every 3 min to 5 min by placing the A/C on max with the engine at 2000 RPM.
Once the temperature coming out of the vents are cold as ice with the engine at 2000 RPM. stop charging. So turn the recharge valve on for 20 seconds and then off then rev the engine to 2000 RPM for 3 min and check the temperature at the vent.
Once the temperature is ice cold, stop and don't over charge the system. Over charging the system will cause the A/C compressor to shut down and at worst break, causing a $500.00 repair cost.
I moved my washining machine in order to check pipes....thought id do a final test spin hoping that it would work changed the temperature setting to higher degress (60) put in on a empty wash for about 5 mins then turned it to fast spin an it slowly started spinning until it finished a complete spin!!!!...dont forget to turn the temperature down again!!!

hi the problem your having could be one of a couple of things the first to check is that all the speaker wires a fitted correctly and not come out of socket as a speaker wire shorting could give you the problem your having. The second and most likely problem is going to be a problem with the amp part of the circuit board usually a blown resistor but in your case as the unit comes on for few minutes then the chances are its just a solder joint failing on the board this causing the unit to trip out as a safety measure to stop it setting on fire. Check the sub woofer cable is fitted properly as this is the usuall problem with you make and model let me know when you have checked all of this ok
