There is not compressor it a cooler not a fridge... The noise is most likely fans 2 of them one inside and one under the rear cover. remove the bad one take to R Shack ... computer fans are about the same size.

Just unplugged it again and let it sit for 15 minutes then turn it back on ,also make sure all wiring is secure on the compressor

What you are hearing is the new refrigerant going through the system. The old Freon 12 did not make that noise but the new stuff does. Nothing to worry about, it is normal. Thank you for using Fix ya and I hope you found this info helpful.

not to many moving parts on that wine cooler more then likley it is the compressor making the noise. check your warranty to see if the compressor is covered

Where is the noise coming from? Check the fan at the back of the upper compartment. They seem to be defective and die after about 3 years (just outside of warranty... how convenient). I'm dealing with the same issue now. (As search on the internet indicates that we're not alone!) When its making that noise, try pressing the back plate around the little fan and see if it changes the noise.

check the fan near the motor or inside it this kind of wine cooler always have fan problem

i got the same model,the noise from the lower back,u can remove the fan out & determine the noise from easy,the bottom have two bolts,easy to remove it.gd luck for u
