Hi, i am looking for some kind of service manual for my laptop (trvalemate 8210) as it is overheating. I can see small silver block flying around. It seems to be a cooler for my graphics card. Anyone can help with this? Just need to know how to open it. I am able to unscrew all screws but i am not able to open it and i dont want to break it :) Thanks Pete
Dear Pete Icame to understand that your laptop is overheating. Dust on cooling fan may be one of the cause. You can try to open the laptop and clean the cooling fan . I am sending you some url which will help you to open the laptop. http://repair4laptop.org/notebook.html http://www.rigacci.org/comp/312T/disassemble/ Ty this . Kshitij
There is usually a screw or two inside the memory access panel, hard drive access panel and/or under the battery. Make sure you have checked/removed all of these. Does it appear to be loose for the most part? Even once the screws are removed there may be interlocking clips along the edges the hold the housing together. you can test one spot with a small flat screwdriver to see if it "pops" apart. Here is a website to find service manuals/info as well: http://www.eserviceinfo.com Good Luck
The screws are sitting to hard. cant be opened

clean your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making sure there is no moisture in the air line
as dust will cause a lot of static which will make a computer overheat and cause lots of problems
hope this helps
