I have a gateway laptop model MT6707. The monitor was working then started going dark, then would come back on. Now it doesn't come on at all no. Any suggestions?
Hook it up to another monitor then control panel then display see i8f something was changed in there
otherwise your screen may have gone but it's only two years old

It's 2 yrs old....and no...no display at all now...I can hook it up to external monitor
I checked everything already, and your not going to believe this, but it just came back on. So maybe not the LCD display? Now it just went out.
gateway mt6707, screen is very dark. everything seems to work when connected to external monitor.
Any suggestions other than a new screen?
Same problem here. The laptop will power on and LEDS light but the screen remains dark. I plugged in an external monitor and then both the external monitor and laptop LCD worked. I unplugged the external monitor and it would power up and down and everything worked fine. After a while the screen went dark again and won't come on.
How old is and and are you saying you see no screen display at all
