Here how to fix this issue:
1. Disconnect the power adapter.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Unscrew the back cover for the hard drive.
4. Disconnect the CMOS battery for a few minutes. (the battery is located under the the small circuit board.)

Try running a Windows repair using your Windows CD. Avoid reloading Windows if it tries to do that so that you don't lose data but a Windows repair will not destroy your data.

TPM FAULTY OR TPM NOT WORKING

In the BIOS (F2 or del or f1) on boot time at the pc first manufacturer boot screen.

Depending on your pc - there may be an option in the Security section of the BIOS there may be a section for TMP is ON or OFF. You can try set to Off or Disabled.

Otherwise a reset all settings to the "default optimal" settings should clear it.

I have a Jeep Cherokee. It displayed that I need to check the TMP system. What does this mean.

Was the message not "check TPM system? That is the tire pressure monitoring system. Is one tire pressure indication blank? Most probably a tire ptessure srnsor failure, the battery is most probably depleted.

Tpm not found or tpm problem on acer aspire 5520g

solution is try to re install the Windows Vista back and see whether the TPM will show missing. sometimes thats happening to most of the systems. when you try to put another windows thats did not came with the product, you will miss some functions such as drivers, battery not charging, internet not working, audio not working and many more. so put back windows vista and whether your problem still existing.

Pop off valve keeps popping off and makes hot water run all the time

Is the water extremely hot?? If so, then I would probably recommend new thermostats for top and bottom of the unit. The only time these temperature related overflows are activated is when the water temperature reaches a certain temperature and they are there to safely relieve the pressure/temperature so the unit doesn't explode.

If water is not terribly hot from normal, then I would say the TMP valve ( the valve that you are referring to) needs to be replaced and can be done easily by turning water off, and picking one up at any home improvement store for your model and just unscrewing the one you have out, putting on pipe thread sealant on new and rescrewing the new TMP valve into the tank.

Good to go after that,

Let me know!

After I replaced the motherboard on my nc8430 I get the following message: THE FOLLOWING CONFIGURATION CHANGE WAS REQUESTED TO THESE COMPUTER'S TRUSTED PLATFORM MODULE (TMP) ALLOW A USER TO TAKE OWNERSHIP...

only HP can help, you are using someone elses mobo
its used, right>? bought off ebay ,right? (tossing coins here for you)
TPM is chip, for security. (the lock down chip)
the early Mobo is only used as trial the later near windows 8
release it plays hard ball. (the trend)
why not ask, the real HP and not here. we are not HP.
if this is a serious board.(mobo) then only can reset it, you must call them.

here is 90 folks asking the same question at HP, why not ask them
on yours, (2006 MOBO) it seems is year. (my guess easy one)
but i cant see all errors on the screen so.....

if the rules are not stringent security... its easy ,other wise not.

When i start CPS pro photo x2 it pops up no valide temp directory in windows

1. Create a new folder called Temp right under C:\ on your computer.

2. Right click on My Computer and choose Properties. Click on the Advanced tab, and click the Environment Variables button at the bottom. When this pops up, highlight where it says Temp and choose edit. In the field, type C:\Temp and click OK. Do the same for TMP.

This should resolve the issue for you.

No TMP or TPM has problem

do you have access to another dvd rom? you might order one and use it to test/ return it if it dosnt work.

you could always use an external rom.

cd/dvd roms have their own firmware (like bios) that could be damaged on yours.
