hw would we guess some things require hands on to test and fixya does not have the capability

Save yourself $$$. Go to Ace hardware and get an O ring for 50 cents nstead of the $10 plus $3 shipping some websites want. 1 and 1/16 size. Have replaced these on a couple of technics SL MC models and works like a charm. No more error codes.
