Remote controle I lost my remote controle to my CD changer during moving its a SL-MC4. How do I go about replacing it?

Unfortunately, the remote for this unit has been discontinued and is no longer available from the Pansonic (the parent company of Technics). However, here is the model number, just in case you might be able to find it from a retailer who might have a few left in stock: EUR645270 - just type in this number in google, and you'll get some results which may or may not help you.

What size o ring can I use to replace belt on my technics sl-mc6 CD changer

Save yourself $$$. Go to Ace hardware and get an O ring for 50 cents nstead of the $10 plus $3 shipping some websites want. 1 and 1/16 size. Have replaced these on a couple of technics SL MC models and works like a charm. No more error codes.

No. Volume for external sound sources is usually left up to the preamplifier or amp.

Unit is locked

Take the 4 screws from the sides and the two in the top back of the unit. What has probably happened is that you have a cd laying on the bottom of the unit and the arm can not make the entire sweep. cdt
