Phone freezes when entering text

you can update the version by updating new firmware. please ask the same with a mobile repair shop they have the tools which required for updation.

1. To update the Mobile OS / Firmware software, you have to connect to internet.

2. Goto Menu >> Settings >> General >> Update Service.

3. Select 'Search for Updates' to search latest available software update OR

4. Select 'Software Version' to display current software installed on phone OR

5. Select 'Reminder' to set time when to search for new updates.


* To use "Update" service online (not on phone) :

1. Visit www.sonyericsson.com/update

2. Select a 'Region' and 'Country'.

3. Enter the Product Name.

4. Select 'Sony Ericsson Update Service' and follow the instructions that appear!

Are you using the latest version of Motorola Phone Tools v5.2.7?

Go to the following website:

Sign up to enter the site. (It's as easy as 1-2-3)

As a member, you can then download the Motorola Phone Tools v5.0.5 which when installed will automatically update to v5.2.7. Using this version should solve your problem.

**Make sure you download the USB Drivers for Windows, too.

The download for the PC Suite is in .zip format. You'll need to unzip it to a new folder. (You can create a new folder on your desktop)

After unzipping the file to the new folder, double click on it to open > locate the >>
Setup icon and double click on it.

This will install Motorola Phone Tools (PC Suite) on your PC.

Start the Phone Tools Program by double clicking on the icon on your desktop.

Download the Data Cable/Modem drivers and attach your phone to your PC with a USB data cable.
(You may also be able to use Bluetooth)

this type of hanging problem is due to virus attack to ur phone...
due to the virus attack some operating software files have became unstable which are needed for successful operation of the cell...
this virus attack is may be due the transfering of some datas like songs etc from pc or from the other mobiles via bluetooth .....

so i suggest you to give restore factory settings ...
ie in motorola there will option called master reset some thing like this just give it ...
your cell will work correctly ...
but you will be losing the data s which are stored in phone memory ....
b4 contacting technician if problem persists then download the software called p2ktools from net ... and connect your cell to pc it will ask for driver to install then give the location "drv folder" inside p2k tools.. then just go p2k mode then give flex ... by flexing your problem may get solved.....
note: while downloading p2k tools download the old version dont download the new version (new version may be p2k tools3)


if the problem persists then just take your cell to technician ..
the technician will be having a special DKU series cable which are used for resetting the phone,removing codes,reinstalling of softwares etc......
