Denon AVR-2309ci receiver keeps losing power after a few seconds

I have just bought a new Denon 2309ci receiver from Best Buy. I read the manual and hooked speakers (Harmon Kardon AVS20) and a PS3 to the receiver then lastly the power cord. The unit will not stay on for more than a few seconds typcially before it shuts off and the red 'standby' light blinks. The longest it has stayed on is about 3 minutes and I got about 1/2 through the microphone calibration for the speakers before it cut off. I have securely fastened the power cord several times and i have tried different outlets. Am i doing something wrong or did i purchase a defective unit?

Why does t4al fuse keep blowing?

Fuses blow when there is an overload. The most common cause is a short-circuited semi-conductor device. Frequently found on the large heat sink of the power amp section of the unit. Very often this will have blown due to bad speaker wires. With the two wires touching each other more often than not. Or simply connecting the wrong type of speakers to it.

I have a Denon AVR-2309CI and I have lost the owners manual. Can I obtain a new copy?

Try the Denon website itself,if ur DVD player still in the market, their website will let u print it a coppy for free. Not anymore on the market look for their phone toll free number 1-800... call and talk to their custumer service department and pay them a fee. They should send u out a coppy.

turns on for a few seconds then immediately goes into standby, attempted to reset by holding in on speaker a and b as instructed with no luck, any other suggestions?
A very obvious evidence shows there is a DC coming out of the speaker terminals.

https://www.hifiengine.com/manual_library/denon/avr-681.shtml?_e_pi_=7%2CPAGE_ID10%2C1610027943

first download service manual.
check any DC voltages developed at the speaker
output terminals. Differential amps got damaged ,shorted, are common. Check for any shorted transistors of pre-amp stage which amplifies voltage.

Denon AVR 1804

You need to get the manual and do some reading first. I couldn't find the AVR-1804 but the AVR-1803 is avaiable. It should be close enough to get you through connection and setup.

No matter what I do, I can't hook up my Ipod dock to the Denon 397 receiver I just bought.

The receiver is the DRA 397 model. I don't have a solution yet. If anyone does, I'd appreciate it!!
