I have just done a home repair job bolt kit for the 3 rings of death and now my xbox wont even turn on the green light flickers for a second then disapears i was told that thermal compound wasnt needed but im not so sure now has anyone had a similar prob any ideas how to solve this
I don't recall what the bolt kit entails, but if you reseated the CPU or GPU its probably not set right, I would double over your work very carefully to be sure you didnt mess anything up. Also, check for cold solder joints on the board (if you had to repair anything).
