Xbox 360 turns on but no image comes up on my tv

I turned on my xbox but there is no image on my tv. there is no read light, it worked last night, and every thing is hooked up properly.

    Heh Same problem.. Worked earlier today, then the screen glitched turned pinkish so I turned it off and back on, then it wouldn't show the screen. Heard the game through my surround sound, but no picture.. And everything -IS- hooked up right. Unhooked everything whiped everything down just to make sure.. tried it on another tv, nothing. xD

Check if you turned on the HD or not.. if your TV isnt HD then it wont show anything but the 360 will turn on still

Needs to be reset with console.

If your ring up microsoft and explain your problem without shouting at them, and your xbox has not been opened at all which leads to a warranty void they will fix it for your for free.

Xbox 360 not starting up
If you're using HDMI to connect, make sure the TV is on the correct input as the console will 'wait' for a valid signal before powering up fully (on some TV's).

Also check the colour of the Power Adapter when you have powered up the x360.

Hi...

Make sure the switch on the 360 A/V cable is in the right position. Also unplug everything from the unit and plug it all back in again.
From the reading I've done on tech issues the 360 has a lot of temporary issues like that.

If the person that you bought it from on E-Bay had an HD Television. Then the Xbox console is set into HD from the Display options. If your TV is not HD, then It will not display. It can also be the other way around, if His TV is standard and yours is HD. Also try looking at the RCA's(The Part that plugs into the 360) And you will see a slider. Switch the slider, then turn it on. Tell me if that works, if Not, tell me and I will tell you what to press on your 360 controller to set the other menu. Hope this helps.
