I have had my Plantronics 925 headset for about 2 years. One day it had no sound what so ever. It is paired. It will redial the last phone call. I tried to turn the volume up but I can not hear the beeps. I removed it from my phone and repaired it but that did not work. The people on the other line can not hear me and I can not hear any thing. Is it time for a new one???
I had a similar problem. what had happened was maybe a piece of small lint or plastic got inside or broke off inside of headset and blocked the tiny hole at the tip. anyways, use a safety pin or anything small enough to unblock the hole.

You are holding down the main button too long. When it flashes blue and red it is now in pairing mode. To turn on the headset hold down the main button until you see the blue light come on, then let go. If you hold it any longer this is when it goes into pairing mode.

Recently on an HP desktop computer I found setting the device in the Sounds and Audio Device Control panel Voice Tab (and possibly Audio Tab) to reduce the issues with the device ceasing to work. Setting the device from the Sound Icon in the System tray recently only a very temporary fix where the settings reverted to the Sounds and Audio Device Control panel settings in at most minutes. This is at best an I hope it helps solution as I do not know your specific hardware and software configuration we cannot test a solution.

When you turn it on do you go to the settings on the ps3 XMB and check to make sure it is connected, if it is connected when you test what it sounds like can you hear yourself? Sometimes your ps3 won't sync to the bluetooth automatically and you have to manually do it in the XMB, go to settings then accessory settings and then bluetooth. Hope this helps.
