I have a pantech ease phone and I received a plantronics 925 bluetooth and having difficulties pairing it/ setting it up. please help

Something you may want to try is start from the beginning. Check to make sure there are no other bluetooth devices loaded onto your phone that might interfere with the process. Turn off your phone. Disconnecting the battery of your mobile for 30 seconds and reconnecting helps to reset the phone. Looks like there is a battle between two or more equipment items.

Are you using more bluetooth equipment on your Blackberry?

Then delete them from your phone. And try pairing again with the 925.

Then activate the option for automatic connecting with the 925.

After this you can connect the other bluetooth equipment but do not set either of them on automatic connection.

Hope this will work.

Make sure both devices are fully charged. Turn off your phone and disconnect the battery for about 30 seconds (this helps to reset the phone). Make sure there are no other bluetooth devices interfering with the connection. Turn on Bluetooth within your phone - Consult phone instruction booklet

Put phone into pairing mode - Consult phone instruction booklet

Put headset into pairing mode - With headset off, press and hold Call Control Button
until the headset begins to flash red and blue.

Select "Add new device" on your phone.

Select the Plantronics headset when prompted. Enter "0000" as passcode.

Your 925 headset will now have a continuous blue light blinking.

Choose "Yes" if your phones asks if you want to bond to the 925 headset.

Your phone is now paired with the Plantronics 925 headset and ready for use.

set your phone to discovery mode. press and hold the button inside of the diamond until it flashes blue and red. once you do that, your phone should see it. Pair it to your phone by putting in code. 0000.

I have a plantronics 260, it does disconnect until the phone rings then it suddenly recconects, it is the same for the media player, it will suddenly connect when i start playing music. after it hais paired, does yours do the same thing with the music player?
