SOURCE: how to connect the LG Voyager - plantronics discovery 925?

From all my research in the past few days (1-11 March 2010) I have found out that bluetooth hands free via bluetooth is not possible with the Motorola Droid or the Eris Droid. The problem is with the Google android operating system not your bluetooth device. After calling Motorola and Verizon tech support, both say that "They are working on it." I really hope they update/fix their os because I really want to buy a couple of their phones. They said to wait until 31 March 2010. Hopefully they will get their act together.

Plantronics 925 connects to my Blackberry Bold but disconnects within 2 seconds

Looks like there is a battle between two or more equipment items.

Are you using more bluetooth equipment on your Blackberry?

Then delete them from your phone. And try pairing again with the 925.

Then activate the option for automatic connecting with the 925.

After this you can connect the other bluetooth equipment but do not set either of them on automatic connection.

    Hope this will work.

When I make a call using the bluetooth, I can hear who I am talking to through the bluetooth, but they can't hear me?????

Make sure both devices are fully charged. Turn off your phone and disconnect the battery for about 30 seconds (this helps to reset the phone). Make sure there are no other bluetooth devices interfering with the connection. Turn off your headset and carefully follow the pairing instructions on the link below for the Plantronics Discovery 925.

Lg lotus does not locate plantronics 925. have been using motorola h700 with no issues. have turned off phone and 925 and retried several times. lotus does not see any other devices.

Once you make your LG Lotus discoverable, then put the Plantronics Discovery 925 into pairing mode by holding the call control button until the headset flashes red and blue. Here is the link below for the Discovery 925 pairing instructions.
