SOURCE: I have the rechargeable battery

If you remove the rechargable battery pack and put regular batteries back in, are you still having the same problem? If so, I would recommend returning the rechargable unit and replacing it.

For what it is worth, I've been using my Wii Fit board for nearly a month on 4 alkaline batteries and have not had any problems.

I recommend rechargeable NiMH batteries with a 15-minute quick charger. Always have four more batteries than you need in your machine, ie: if you have a Wii Fit, a Nyko Wireless Sensor Bar, and two Wiimotes, then you should have 16 batteries total (4 + 4 + 2 + 2 + 4 spare).

Good luck!

SOURCE: cant charge battery pack for wii fit balance board

You may want to send an email to [email protected]. In the meantime, try keeping it plugged into the USB port for at least an hour, or perhaps overnight. See if the light stops flashing and stays on. Then try plugging it back into the Wii Fit unit.

My personal suggestion is to return the charger and battery and buy a 15-minute charger and four more NiMH AA batteries than you need for all of your accessories. Not only are AA batteries compatible with all your accessories, but you won't be out a gizmo while it's needing to be charged.

Good luck!

SOURCE: wii fit doesn't work

Make sure the program that your are running (ie: Wii Fit, etc) is completely loaded. Your balance board will NOT power up if the software is not running on your Wii.

18v 12 cordless trimmer/edger. Why won't it start?

the trimmers switch may be faulty.

CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK
Battery packs for this tool are shipped in a low charge condition
to prevent possible problems. Therefore, you should
charge them until the green LED on the front of the charger
comes on.
NOTE: Batteries will not reach full charge the first time they
are charged. Allow several cycles (operation followed by
recharging) for them to become fully charged.
CHARGING A COOL BATTERY PACK
See Figure 3.
If battery pack is within normal temperature range, the red
LED on charger will come on.
NOTE: If the charger does not charge the battery pack
under normal circumstances, return both the battery pack and
charger to your nearest Ryobi Authorized Service Center for
electrical check.
n Charge the battery pack only with the charger provided.
n Make sure the power supply is normal household
voltage, 120 volts, 60 Hz, AC only.
n Connect the charger to the power supply.
n Place the battery pack in the charger aligning raised rib
on the battery pack with the groove in the charger.
n Press down on the battery pack to be sure contacts on
the battery pack engage properly with contacts in the
charger.
n Normally the red LED on charger will come on. This
indicates the charger is in fast charging mode.
n Red LED should remain on for approximately 1 hour
then the green LED will come on. Green LED on
indicates battery pack is fully charged and charger is
in maintenance charge mode.
NOTE: The green LED will remain on until the
battery pack is removed from the charger or charger is
disconnected from the power supply.
n If both yellow and green LEDs come on, this indicates
a deeply discharged or defective battery pack.
Allow the battery pack to remain in the charger for 15
to 30 minutes. When the battery pack reaches normal
voltage range, the red LED should come on. If the
red LED does not come on after 30 minutes, this may
indicate a defective battery pack and should be
replaced.
n After normal usage, a minimum of 1 hour of charging time
is required to fully recharge battery pack.
n The battery pack will become slightly warm to the
touch while charging. This is normal and does not
indicate a problem.
n Do not place the charger and battery pack in an area of
extreme heat or cold. They will work best at normal room
temperature.
NOTE: The charger and battery pack should be placed
in a location where the temperature is more than 50°F
but less than 100°F.
n When batteries become fully charged, unplug the
charger from power supply and remove the battery
pack.

What does flashing red light on wii dock charging station mean??

Make sure that when charging the battery pack it must be attached to a wii-mote otherwise this may cause a flashing red light. If the battery pack is attached to the wii-mote and you still have a flashing red light this may indicate that there could a problem with the battery pack itself.

I am trying to find out what is the best way to store my 3000 six cell venom bettery packs when I am not going to be using them for a few days. I have been told to store them fully charged and I aaahave...

Hi Steve. It is best to store any battery with a positive charge. Any battery that is completely drained starts a reverse electrolysis process that has a battery internal corrosion effect and will drastically affect the life of the battery. As long as there is some form of a charge in the battery when you store them (preferrably a 40% charge or more) the battery will be fine. If you have ever opened an old flashlight that had dead batteries in it, you would have seen the rusty red goo that forms on the ends of the batteries and destroys the battery contacts. It does not matter if the battery type is lead acid, Ni-Cad. or Lithium, the dead battery reverse electrolysis process will begin at ZERO charge. Just make sure there is a minimal charge (hopefully 40% or above) in the battery and you should be able to store them for up to 30 days with no problem as long as the batteries do not have any internal problems.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,

Kelly

rechargeable batteries are definitely a better bet. I have used many Wii battery packs and chargers, none seem to last very long.

My glowbouy flashes green and red...what does this mean

According to the owners manual for these swimming pool lights, this is what each colored indicator means. Hope this helps.

Solid green
The battery pack is fully charged.
Slow flashing green
The battery pack is almost fully charged.
Slow flashing yellow
The battery pack is half charged.
Medium flashing yellow
The battery pack is less than half charged.
Fast flashing yellow
The battery pack has almost no charge.
Fast flashing red
A charging error has occurred and the light should be unplugged and then plugged back in. If the Fast Flashing Red persists after several attempts, the battery condition is questionable.

Also in the trouble shooting guide, it mentions this:

Problem: Red Indicator Light Is Flashing While Charging

Solution:
A red flashing indicator light when charging indicates a selftest
error condition. Unplug the product and plug it in again.
Try this several times; if the indicator light continues to flash
red, unplug the GlowBuoy and take it to an authorized service
depot.

make sure the battery charger is connected, and that the port connections are tight, other than that I would say you have a faulty charger.
