I have a few pictures that have been locked on my camera and I would like to delete them without deleting all the pictures on the camera. Help?
SOURCE: Need manual for Olympus Stylus 850 sw camera
you can download the manual here http://safemanuals.com/user-guide-instructions-owner-manual/OLYMPUS/STYLUS%20850%20SW-_F Please note that the user guide is in French
SOURCE: how to delete pictures
Look in the manual for "format" and follow the steps. That should delete them.
SOURCE: card is full; all pictures
In playback mode press >ok< select >mode menu< with the 4-arrow-pad, then select >card< then >card setup< then press the PLAY button below the arrow pad. Select >all erase< with the up/down buttons of the 4-arrow-pad and then press OK (the button beside the PLAY button). Confirm by selecting >yes< with the up/down button and press OK button again.
It's also a good habit to get into, to format the card after deleting the images (you can also just format the card - that will also delete all photos). To format the card start as above (Mode menu; card; card setup; press PLAY). Select >format< with up/down buttons then press OK. Select >yes< and press OK.
Hope that helps

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.
