I just replaced the lamp to my dell 1200mp dlp projector, and now it's not working properly. The light is on the wall without a display. The fan kicks on and everything. There is just not a picture showing
I bought a new bulb too. Now it just flicks on and then off within a few seconds. I bought a new bulb too. Now it just flicks on and then off within a few seconds.

Check that you replaced the lamp in the right way, and also that the unit is well reassembled, you may also need to reset lamp counter from menu on some model.
I don't know that particular model, but usually these are hung u pside down and the projector can flip the image. That should take care of it. Also, depending upon the angle to the screen, you may need to adjust the "keystone" as well. That will allow the final picture to be square as if the projector was at the correct angle.
