some bluetooth products will only pair with one thing at a time. if you are actually swapping for another phone it may help to delete the original paired phone...hope this helps
1. Turn on Bluetooth within your phone - Consult phone instruction booklet 2. Put phone into pairing mode - Consult phone instruction booklet 3. Put headset into pairing mode - With headset on, press and hold call button and the volume up simultaneously until the headset begins to flash red and blue. 4. Select "Add new device" on your phone. 5. Select the Plantronics headset when prompted. Enter "0000" as passcode. 6. Your 510 headset will now have a continuous blue light blinking. 7. Choose "Yes" if your phones asks if you want to bond to the 510 bluetooth headset. 8. Your phone is now paired with the Plantronics 510 headset and ready for use.
First check tomtom site if the phone is compatible, not all are.
If so enable blue tooth on both items and detectable as well
Power up phone and select a feature with bluetooth update on your tomtom. In most cases it finds the phone, commenes a check out of its capabilities and will tell you the result. Could be negative
phone and phone provider is not compatible...PDA's are not designed to pair with the units...the reason for this is due to the platform that the phone/ PDA works on...
in regard to the data servics.....this will not work either.....in order to use the plus services, a gprs wireless connection is needed...verizon uses a cdma wireless connection....sorry
