How do I hook up my blue tooth headphones to my onkyo tx-SR 602
Trying to hook up Sony 900MHz Analog RF Wireless Headphones Model MDR-RF970RK. Not a audiophile nor very proficient in stereo connections of peripheral equipment.
Cannot get this to hookup and work. I suspect it is where the headphones base unit plugs into the Onkyo that is the culprit but cannot find any information related to this on the web.
Can anyone please offer any help in getting this connection to work.
I have ran through all the basic trouble shooting guide on the install manual to no avail.
Thank you!
Hi Jacob, Thanks for getting back to me. I saw your answer to another person on here and looked at this. The headphones come with the transmitter but it is a red/white 2-plug interface for the base and will not plug to the headphones plug on front. Was hoping there is some connection through back to allow use of this Sony unit. Thanks!Hi Jacob, Thanks for getting back to me. I saw your answer to another person on here and looked at this. Hi. Confirmed with Sony Tech support the headphones should be able to hookup to any of Onkyo's red/white audio output jacks and work. There suggestion is I need help with the Onkyo settings. I have plugged into Video1 and Video2 out and no success. Can anyone offer any help with Onkyo's settings? Thank you!Hi. You cannot rig up a blue tooth headphones to this receiver with out a blue tooth transmitter ( the Onkyo does not have one built in ). If you have a transmitter it can be plugged into the headphone out socket of the Onkyo ( in front ), just remember that it will cut out the sound from all your speakers when you insert the headphone jack . The advantage though with this connection is you can control the headphone volume using the Onkyo remote.

Hi, You can use MDR-RF925R with any thing that has Line Out RCA jacks and your tv should have TV Audio Out RCA jacks to connect this wireless headphone. Thanks.
After doing some searching for the TV you mentioned, it appears it doesn't have any outputs to plug the headphones. Website says it only has inputs. You would need a monitor or a fixed audio out for this to function as you wish. Sorry.
Hello,
few tv sets have extra head phone volume option but many has either way, I mean if you put head phone, speakers will be off.
I dont know the model n make of your tv set.
