Connects to bluetooth for a second and then shows disconnect
When I turn on my Tom Tom, it will say it is connectedto bluetooth but in a second or two, it says disconnected. This happens every time I try to use it.

Unable to connect my new iphone to the bluetooth in my car.
I've turned off the blue tooth in my old phone but it only turns off the bluetooth in the car. I have tried to then reconnect my new iphone, which is searching and showing that it has located the bluetooth (blue tooth flashing in car, shows on the sceen for a second and then turns off with message 'no service' phone off. If I turn on the old phone, everything comes back on.
Any ideas?
1-Your tom tom does not have the device driver needed to connect to your phone? 2- Turn off the bluetooth device the tom tom is a bluetooth device and the two of them are probably arguing the tom tom and your actual bluetooth. 3- You have to put the tom tom in discover mode and let the PHONE find the tom tom then the tom tom should find the phone, once this happens you enter the code and tell the phone that this is a trusted device. The same thing that was done with your actual bluetooth device. Hope this helps
Try disconnecting the bluetooth device then turn the bluetooth off then hold the power button untill the bluetooth shows a solid red light then try connecting the bluetooth between your palm and the bluetooth device hope this helps
Hi, I got round this problem by pressing and holding the ON/OFF button for 15 seconds untill system reboots. Then reconnect mobile,if not delete mobile and repeat process.
Have you tried using 'other wired device', try each com, rather than bluetooth, on tomtom configuration settings, works for me with TT5 and a Holux BT GPS reciever
