Sva-usa vr30 my lcd was working and the picture went out,yet the sound was on,i waited a while turned it back on ,it came on,i decided to turn it off a while,now it wont come on at all,no sound even,only the red light is on,i get nothing,help please

    My LCD is not working I'm not getting a pic, but I am getting a sound, so I unplugged it for about 20 sec. and now it just keep blinking green can someone please help?????????????

I've experienced the same problem with my VR-30 and what worked for me was I actually unplugged the power from the TV, waited about twenty seconds and then reconnected and when I turned it back on it worked fine. I've had my tv for about 2 1/2 years and I've had to do this probably a half dozen times so I've gotten used to it. Hope it works for you too.

Without testing the tv all i can say is that, from your description, it can be only the T-con board or the ballast for the backlighting. Take a flashlight and point it at the screen from up close - if you see the image there it's the ballast, if you don't the t-con.

The power supply may have failed due to bad DC filter caps which you can easily look at them for sign of elaking/bulging top first.
