SVA 2400 Monitor Problems

Hello. We have a problem with our SVA 2400 monitor. It works very well but does not turn on right away when the power button is pressed...it's hooked up to a computer and when the tower is on already, the monitor takes a good 5 minutes to flicker on. It acts like it is in a "sleep mode" or something. It also is never adjusted in the center and we always have to press "auto adjust" whenever it is turned on. Thanks for any help you can give!

maybe you have defective parts in oscillation circuit! in hotside of the power supply! or maybe you have loosed contact at the main board!

Sva monitor model 2400w-bd. have two set up and one keeps going to a black screen after a few min of being on. turn power off and turn back on and screen returns. this is a constant and very annoying...

Your monitor is suffering an overheat condition due to the switcher internally working too hard and overheating, shutting down the switching supply. Replace the electrolytic caps on the board with new low esr ones and you should see this problem go away.

My screen is green I cant find the menu key on my sva monitor

You need to find menu button - it's got to be there somewhere. If you do find it, go to the "tools" menu (show a wrench and screwdriver), then select the "RECALL" option. Press then right and/or left arrow on that option. This fixed same problem on my SVA Monitor

Good Luck

My sva lcd (vr-2600w) recently will not power on. The red light in the corner is still lit up red, but when I push the power button it doesn't turn on. I've already replaced the power board almost a year...

Right now you only have 5vdc standby power supply working. It can be the main board, power supply module (bad DC filter caps). You need to open it up and do in-depth troubleshooting.

SVA 17" flat monitor screen color is pink.

It's not a "windows" problem. At the bottom of your monitor there should be a 'menu' button. Push the button and use the up and down, right and left arrows on your keyboard to scroll to color. Get the "red" color and adjust it down. You can also scroll through to 'contrast' and adjust that. You don't need to pay a bunch of bucks to have this fixed.

SVA VR 15A flat screen monitor does not complete boot up.

It sounds like that monitor has a leakage problem on the ground or shield. This is a common flaw that forces intel motherboards to keep from booting. If you carefully cut the outermost layer of monitor cable away (it looks like a basket weave made of metal threads) that surrounds the other signal cables inside, this problem will go away.
