I have a double door Commercial Freezer Beverage Air, E-Series Model#EF48-1AS and is not keeping the items inside frozen. We have cleaned out the fan filters and has not seemed to help. What else can I do to check what the problem is before making a service call? I am not very refrigerator savvy so please be as descriptive as possible or ask any questions that may further help me. Thank you for your time and expertise.

Check the fans are running ok, and the condensing area isn't too hot. Check the door closes properly and the inside isn't blocked up with ice. If all appears ok you may have to call out a technician

You might be able to. Turn the thermostat up, throw a thermometer into the box and play with it for a few days until your happy with it. But, be sure to keep the thermostat in it and load it slowly over a few days. You'll need to keep an eye on how it reacts when you start to load it up. It might see a load and turn back into a freezer. just load it slow and keep an eye on it. If you turn it up and is doesn't get above freezing, don't think you can load it up to bring the temperature up. It might work at first, but as it catches up, you'll find out you still have a freezer!!

The fan has a limit control wired in series that shuts the fan down until the coil temperature reaches 25*F. this prevents the fan from blowing warm around after defrost.
There is also a switch which is placed for the door to close. Either one may be defective.
Worst case is the freezer is not pulling down temperature wise.

Evap fans will not run what are the two sinsors ?

First, the freezer coils have a temperature sensor strapped to it with a copper band.
The fans won't come on until the coil is under 10 degrees. Second, the fans won't come on if the doors are open. The same switch that shuts off the insdie light also turns off the fans. Try those two items. If the coils never get cold enough the fans simplhy won't come on at all. You may have low refrigerant or the other coils out by the compresor may be clogged with dust or grease.

Fan runs but the compressor does not run no

While moving the unit you may have jammed or budged the start capacitor which is keeping your unit from turning on. It is located in the back of the unit near the compressor it is oval shaped and silver in color with two wires running out of it. Get the number off of it, go online and search for beverage-air commercial freezer parts. You will need to have the model number to make sure that you get the right parts. Please rate

Evap fan will not come on,jumped out the fan control fan comes on

Since this is a freezer, it should have a defrost terminator/ fan delay. This could have gone bad or you may have a refrigeration problem. Such as low on freon due to a leak. Need more info, I'll explain in detail. Let me know. Will Be more than happy to.

Freezer water line frozen

Sounds like your defrost sensor is not working the sensor should return the fan running and cooling after it senses 50 degrees in the condensor housing unplug the sensor and check if it shows a closed circuit. First unplug the freezer for your safety
